Yesterday was our class spelling bee, and everyone did so well, and were extremely supportive of each other!  I'm pleased to announce our finalists for the 5th grade Spelling Bee next Monday:

*June 1: The class is watching Ella Enchanted.  I have received permission from each parent to be able to watch the movie!  If you feel so inclined,  bring treats for the whole class.  Thanks!

*June 1:Box top dress down day!

*June 1: Gradebook cut-off date for all assignments!  Everything must be turned in by that day or it will go in as a zero!

*June 2: Junior Achievement Fun Run at Rio Tinto Stadium. Click here for more info and to sign up!

*June 4: 5th Grade Spelling Bee at 10!  Parents invited!

*June 5: 5th grade party at the Rec Center from 10-2!  Students should bring sack lunches, and parents need to provide transportation to and from the Rec center (we will not meet at school at all that day)!  Permission slips went home, so please turn them in asap!  Also, if you don't have a pass to the Rec Center, please donate the $3 donation if you can!  Thank you!

*June 5: School Carnival at 5:30!  Order forms due by June 1, or you can buy tickets at the gate.

*June 6: Reading assembly at 9 am

*June 7: Field Day

*June 8:  Last day of school!  Awards assembly at 10 am and NOON DISMISSAL!
