*February 28th (Tues.): Elementary Open House 6:00pm- Please come join us for an Open House.  You will be able to visit your child’s classroom and see examples of the work and activities they have participated in at school.  
*March 2nd (Friday): No school--professional development
*March 5 (Monday): DWA testing!  We will get to put all our persuasive writing practice to the test!  Please make sure you are well rested and on time for school that day!
*March 9th (Friday): No school

Book Report Info:
Choose a new book on your level that is in the fiction genre.  It is due Wed., Feb. 29th.
 Author Partnership: Rewrite a part of the story, telling it from the viewpoint of a different character.  Your rewritten page should be 1 page long.
Touching Quote:  Select a passage or quotation which has special significance for you. Copy it down and then describe in a 1 page essay why it's meaningful for you.
Where are we?:  Rewrite part of the book in a different time period, such as space, future, cavemen, ect.  Your rewritten page should be 1 page long.



We found out about conductors and insulators using circuits!









 The 9th graders came over and taught us some spanish games!  We loved it!
