Happy Monday! We have started a new unit in math, and with it, Volume 2
in the program! So we are all excited about our glossy new Volume 2
math homework books! I have allowed students to take their vol. 1
classwork/homework books home, with the warning to keep the homework
book if they have anything missing! They might also be helpful to review at home.
Homework:
- Math (7-1): p. 161 all, p. 162 evens
- Read 20 minutes! And please get reading logs signed!
- Book Reports: Due Jan.26th
- Science Fair: Almost there! The FINAL S.F. Board is due on Tues. Jan. 10th! Parents will be invited to come to the school on Friday the 13th 10-10:45 a.m.

*Science Fair: Parents are invited to our science fair on Friday, Jan. 13th from 10-10:45 a.m. in the elementary school gym.
*Inspirations Contest: to participate in the themed, "My Favorite Things" art competition, please visit www.charterinspirations.blogspot.com.
The entry deadline (turn in to Mrs. VanDongen) is Fri., Jan. 13th, and
the state championship will be held here at Providence Hall this year!!
*January 19th: End of 2nd Quarter! Report cards will go out the following week! To keep/pull up grades, please remember to stay on top of missing work, redo low math tests/quizzes, and study carefully for all tests! Almost halfway through the year!
*Jan. 24th: Boxtops due!
*Jan. 27: Boxtop dress down day!
