This
week, we will be finishing our example science fair project in class,
and students will start launching into their own! Please note one small
change from the packet I sent to parents last week: just the typed
science fair journal will be due Jan. 6th, and the actual board will be
due Jan. 11th. I will post which part of the science fair journal is
due for homework each day, but here is a complete list:
1) Wed. Dec. 7: Project Proposal due!
2) Fri. Dec. 9: Question & Research (written in science fair journal) due
3) Tues. Dec. 13: Hypothesis (written in science fair journal) due
4) Fri. Dec. 16: Procedures (written in science fair journal) due
5) Mon. Jan. 2nd: complete Science journal rough draft due
6) Fri., Jan. 6th: FINAL TYPED Science Fair Journal due
7) Wed., Jan. 11th: FINAL Science Fair Board due!
7) Wed., Jan. 11th: FINAL Science Fair Board due!
Basically, the goal is to have all
the nitty gritty things done before Christmas break, which will leave
the experimenting/finished S.F. board to be done over break and the
first bit of January. If you want to start experimenting sooner because
your project requires more time, simply complete the above science fair
journal steps earlier and turn it in so I can approve it before you
start.
