Kandice Update, Extra Info (Including homework)!

That was Kandice starting off our week with a bunch of necessary information including our class earning dress down tomorrow!!  Way to go Kandice!

Happy halfway day through November!  Even though I emailed you all today, I also want to post here how to access the math classwork book (can be especially great to check the glossary for our fifth grade math vocabulary!):

1)   Go to https://www-k6.thinkcentral.com/ePC/start.do

2)   Select “Utah”, “State Operated School”, “Providence Hall CS, Herriman”

3)   Put in your username and password:

**Username is the first 3 letters of the first name and first 3 letters of the last name, i.e. Mary Wade = marwad  

**Password: it is either PHC123 or phc123.  Try both to find out which one yours is!

4)   From there you can click on “My Library” and access the class workbook if you would like to know what is being taught.  I always post on the blog with the math homework what lesson we're on in parentheses so you know what to look for (i.e., 4-1). The "itools" has some great digital activities for students to practice the concepts as well!  

Homework:

1) Math (4-2): p. 93 all, p. 94 odds Remember that the angles of a triangle add up to 180 degrees and the angles of a quadrilateral add up to 360 degrees!

2) Book reports! Due Nov. 22nd.

3) Read 20 minutes

4) Spelling due Wednesday!
