We had some amazingly dramatic and descriptive personal narratives read today. I am pround to say that EVERY student was able to attend the party because they finished their final draft of their story! From hearing about pizza contests to fish hooks in the neck, the students shared their many diverse experiences with the class. While devouring their donuts, students "snapped" to congratulate each student who was brave enough to share their creative stories in front of the class. For those who were on the shy side, we had a "snowball" activity where the students read their stories to a partner. What talented writers we have! Please enjoy these lovely pictures of the event.
Homework:
1. Read 20 minutes and write the total minutes read for the week in planners.
Get planners signed by a parent!
2. Book Report due next Wednesday
3. Hero of the Week! (Connor only) Bring a poster in with pictures of yourself,
write your favorite things, and tell about your family.
